Count 1-2-3, 4-5-6, 7-8-9, 10-11-12. With the accent enabled, beat one is strongest and the starts of groups two through four are secondary.
How to count this time signature
At the default 120 BPM, each written unit gets one click every 0.5 seconds. The grouping marks larger pulses without removing the smaller clicks.
In written music, groups of three are often felt as larger dotted beats. Here the BPM number still times each smaller click; the accents show the larger groups.
